Justin Erasmus to Play for Australia in the 2011 IBAF Baseball World Cup.

Justin Erasmus adds to the list of Surfers Players to represent Australia

The South African born “righty” and his family moved to Australia when he was nine years old and played his junior baseball at Surfers Paradise, Runaway Bay and Southside Indians Baseball Clubs.

Signed by, the Red Sox organisation in 2007, Justin returns home to the Gold Coast each year to play for Surfers Paradise and the Brisbane Bandits in the ABL.

While at home, Justin supports the Surfers club coaches with skills sessions for juniors aspiring to reach the same goals as Justin has achieved to date. He enjoys playing again and sharing his experiences with his former junior team mates when not on representative duties.

The World cup is scheduled to be held from 2 -15 October 2011 in Panama City, Chitre City and Santiago City.
