Age Requirements:
Age is determined as at 2 November 2012 by the youngest player in the team
Minimum age for competition is 35yrs for men and 30yrs for women
Age Groups:
Men: 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+
Women: 30+ (subject to having a minimum of four teams register)
Participant Fees:
Sport Fee: $95 per player per team
Games Fee: $100 ($20 late fee applies after 31 August)
All online entries will receive a $5 discount
Non-Playing Official Fees:

Additional Baseball Information:
- As team placements will fill quickly, all team organisers who have not already done so, please express your interest to Tony McPhail by email immediately. Please note that an expression of interest does not guarantee your team a place.
- To guarantee your teams nomination and inclusion in the capped team numbers, each team is required to register and make full payment for a minimum of 13 players. Only teams who meet this requirement will be confirmed as particpating in the event. Clubs may only register one team per age division.
- Individual entires into existing teams will be accepted up until the beginning of the Games.
- The provision of an accredited umpire per team is mandatory (three or more teams from one group/club must provide two umpires minimum).
- Teams are also required to provide a scorer.
- If your team umpire and/or schedule isn't playing in your team, they are classified as 'Non-Playing-officials' and should select this option when completing the Individual Games Entry Form. They must also complete team details in Section 3.
- Divisional draws will be listed on the Games website one week prior to the Games. Participants will be required to collect their full draw upon registration at the Games Village.
- Women's teams will be considered if there are sufficent teams to form a separate competition within the maximum 50 teams (four team minimum).
- Mixed teams are allowed but the minimum age criterion must be applied.
- Competition will be conducted under the rules of Baseball and local by-laws.
- The competition is presented by the Surfers Paradise Baseball Club and is sanctioned by the Australian Baseball Federation.
