Game Report - Saturday 7th November 
      
Welcome to the Under 8 Dodgers for 2009. This was our first Home game for the season. After the rain the day before we were lucky to get the game in. We had a smaller team than normal today but the guys played very well.  We played Runaway Bay. Both teams were equally matched which makes for lots of fun.
The team as a whole are understanding the different plays of the game, such as the ball does not always need to be thrown to first base. They are starting to make their own decisions to throw to either  second or third when needed. In one innings the guys even managed 3 outs before the 6 in rule. Hitting on the weekend just was fantastic with every player hitting into the gaps.
Looking forward to another game this week.
