Opening pitcher S Jones pitched a solid innings. Some great ground rule doubles were hit by S Jones, Brodie andBen. Lachy Brough putting in a great effort in spite of the large bump on his head from pre-game warm ups. Bianca put on a fine show as she slid (yes she slid) into 2nd and played an aggressive 1st base. Only one straight double hit for the day by Ricky. With a score of 26-0 there were many RBI's and some solid hitting. Thanks to Coomera who had many players backing up to play 2 games in a row in the heat.

Dodgers won 15-10
We were off to another great start for our 2nd game. Brodie and Georgia smashed ground rule doubles in the first innings. Those cones seemed a long way off with such great hits. Ben pitched a quick 1st innings so we started the 2nd 6-nil. Brodie struck another ground rule double followed by Lachy King. Sam Bailey took a great run to first on a dropped third strike, encouraged by our brilliant assistant coach Peter Jones. Pitchers: B Grant, R Deeble, L Brough, J White, Bianca Lyon. Score: 7/6 to Dodgers.
Our first game started brilliantly with solid pitching from Sam Jones. Sam also took advantage of a hole in Robina's fielding stealing 2nd and 3rd at a lightning speed. Second innings saw a great 3rd out catch by Jonathon on 2nd base. A smooth double play by Ricky and Georgia in the third which Ricky then followed up in the 5th with a pop-up catch .
